Roll up, roll up. tis the month of school fetes, sports days and annual reports. In all this flurry of extra activities and with the summer holidays hurtling towards us at rapid speed, now is the time to tame the chaos before our very special chaos creators are able to help us. Fully intending to beat the Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome so that my personal chaos creator can be occupied by others this holiday. Good luck to all to are also striving to achieve this.

Starting from the 1st of the month we shall be fluttering our way to tamed houses. If you are new to the system it is recommend that you focus on making the babysteps your main focus. The babysteps will build up to form routines to help you to stay on top of the house once you have discovered it. First step is to shine your sink. But not just half heartidly, deep clean til it shines Instructions here

For the more established flyer we then progress onto decluttering. 15mins each day in alloted zone of the week. New zones each week. and current zones and decluttering instructions can be found here Zones will automatically update for July.

As for the advanced flyer, there are missions to do each day in the current zone

We have one rule we are NOT perfectionists anything is better then nothing, real life gets in the way and we have to do other stuff other then cleaning (put it on your list, tick it off and :) ), besides the fat fairy's moto is "You are never behind"

As such take the vomit inducing cuteness of the website with a pinch of salt, and join us for wish lists formally to do lists , ta da lists and home bleurghs. Wink

See you bright and early tomo although hopefully not too bright and early.

YAY July is nearly here - maybe I'll do better this month Smile

Thanks for the new thread CHB and for all your hard work last month SC.

I'm also hoping that I'll do better next month Lady - despite the fact that the summer holidays start tomorrow, July can only be better than June FLYing-wise!

Just checking in to say I am still FLYing and still following the threads, but I'm not posting much because I can't keep up with all the personal stuff and I don't want to offend people by missing them out. However, I am here!

Here's to a tidy and organised July Wine Grin

Brilliant links and intro CHB so right about the CHAOS vicious circle

my computer is playing up at the moment, keeps disconnecting, going blank, 3 years old and beginning to show it [built in obsolescence - am I imagining things?] so please bear with me if I disapparate from Virtual Reality in course of duty.

And if it does break it will take me another three days to probably re-connecct myself on a new computer, as this is the only one we possess. I suppose there is always Internet Cafes or Swimming Pool.

janey it really doesn't matter if you don't do personals at all on this thread. I think we are all just happy hearing about other people's lives, and how they get through the day Grin in whatever fashion. SC sets a very high standard of TLC, but in the end the thread is here for people to set their own goals, tackle their own housekeeping demons Blush

Bugger, i knew i forgot something. Blush

Quite right Linzer

Many thanks to SC who did a marvelous job of keeping us organised and in check last month. Much appreciated!

Reporting for duty Grin. As linzer says, july can only be better as june contained no flying whatsoever Grin. The only way is up. And thank you to sc for being brilliant as usual Grin.

Droit - that's great news re the all-clear!

Janey - hello again! The personals can get a bit overwhelming if you feel that you have to reply to them all. I think Swan is right. Just let us know how you are.

Linzer - I can't believe your DC's holidays start tomorrow! At least you won't have any English lessons to prepare for a while.

SC - thank you very much for leading us last month.

Afraid I went off the rails with Flying in June, in spite of SC's awesome leadership. Will try to do better this month.

Linzer has been trying to convert us on the German thread so I thought I'd give it a whirl if I may? My house is invisible under endless clutter. Hello everybody.

Wow, 18 posts already! Welcome to Ernest, welcome back to Janey (I quite often just lurk for a few days without posting when it all gets too busy, but I always come back and I do read it every day even when I don't post, it is very busy) and IhateCobwebs (I was thinking about you the other day when I was making some jam). Hooray for DWM and the all clear.

Thank you for a brilliant June thread SC, and thank you for volunteering this month CHB.

Next month will be the thread's 2nd birthday, can you believe that?

Another new flyer here, pointed this way from the German thread by Linzer

I need to cure the Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome, plus I'm hoping that getting into some good habits will last after we move house next year.

Welcome back cobwebs and janey and welcome to the thread Ernest and silken. I shall have the whole German thread here yet. Grin (Have tried to persuade admylin to return, but no success so far.)

Fame at last, swan!

Toffee Yes, the thought of no lessons to prepare and teach will keep me going for the next nine weeks! (She says hopefully.)

SC Still one more hour (tomorrow morning) to go here and then we're off until 5th September (although I'm cheating by sending the DDs to a sport & games camp next week and DS will still be at kindergarten)

Briefly wondered about shining my sink, but then decided to leave it until tomorrow (I'm a terrible procrastinator, I know). We have blown up a few balloons and DH has made the cake, but still need to get everything else ready for DD2's birthday party tomorrow afternoon. Tidying up would be a good start. Must get organised while the DDs are at school tomorrow (and not spend the entire hour on MN).

swan you are delivering sage parenting advice Grin

'I think you should apologise for the shouting but not necessarily the sentiment. So you can say "I'm sorry I screames at you but I am really very angry with the way you just ran across the road"

So now you don't have to buy the book! The ability to purchase instant books wirelessly to my kindle from my bed is going to get me into serious financial difficulties!

Evening - sorry had to report on dds music concert this evening.....it was absolutely fantastic, amazing, there was me expecting many catterwalling children but they were superb (tears in my eyes) although dd was not amused that she was visible to vast audience.

My ta da list today involved
