Hi I have recently been a bit over zealous cleaning my enamel lined casserole and although most of the burnt stuff is gone the lining is looking very matt iyswim ?

Should I season the pan ? I have forgotten what the procedure is and never understood how it works anyway

I think you smear the enamel with sunflower oil and bake it in a low oven for about an hour or two.

I think you use oil plus 1cm layer of salt before heating slowly to season.
