DD (18mo) decided the sides of the seat back of one of our brand new lacquered (so shouldn't get marked) chairs would look better with green Crayola washable felt tip pen scribbles on it.
You would have thought that the washable aspect of the pen AND the stain resistance of the lacquer would protect things, but no. (presumably because it was on the SIDE of the chair - where the grain is slightly rough)??
Despite frantic scrubbing (including a bit of Cif) the stuff won't come off. Does anyone have any ideas?
