Evening all Evening Jas I was at work just back in. I've looked at the mission at that would suit me. I would like to prepare for the Holiday Journal I really enjoyed doing it last year.
I've given myself a huge list for this evening I have to start with ironing and label sewing Sad but I have worked in party invites to do too! Yippe that time of the year. Love Autumn

Good morningSmile

Dylsmum I really do admire you for managing Uni on top of childcare. You are a brilliant role model for them, and they really will appreciate it.

realitychick FLYing is slightly contagious. My OH does the shiny sink nowGrin

I have lots to do, and need to get organised.

Firstly I need to try and get our printer working....it has had no ink for a yearBlush but DD1 needs it for school. I don't even know where the ink goes!

Yes, I admire you too Dylsmum. I chickened out of that course because I decided it would be too much work on top of kids. You are setting a great example to them.

Today:
breakfast/packed lunches
wash on
dishwasher on & kitchen cleaned
hoovered
guineas out to play
been to meeting

Still to do:
mission
put away laundry
make a to do list and forward planner for next two months at work as they are busy and if I don't I'll miss out something important!
cook tea
pay bills
clean downstairs loo
teach evening class

Hi all
Feeling very very tired today - and it's only going to get worse i suppose!
Not done much, shopping this morning, and errand running.
Swimming after school. Just off to make carrot and coriander soup.
oh, have washed all the covers from both prams and they are on the line. Glad DH is putting them back on it was a feat to get them off! Very complicated.

Hello everyone, it's quiet this week
jas 9 weeks to go but other babies early so not sure!

Feel like I have so much to do in next few weeks - party preps for both children, Xmas sorted before baby arrives, washing baby stuff, sorting baby stuff out etc. Feeling a bit overwhelmed!

made carrot and coriander soup and flapjacks. Tried and tested recipe went wrong - why!!!
Picked green beans from garden, shopped in town, visited my Dad, two loads of washing ... feel super busy!

Hope all are well

Have updated next weeks Timetable.
Went to the School PTA meeting yesterday never again I kept volunteering to do things which I really don't think I've got time to do Shock

another open day
exercise, diet, cheese scones
homework
piano lesson ds2
Mad Men

Wendy a friend who had four dcs used to operate a complete lock-out policy on friends when she had new baby. She said people used to try and wangle visits by pretending they were dropping off choc cakes and such like but she just refused to see anyone much for two weeks after - it was all too exhausting. Anyway go easy on yourself with those birthday party plans.

ds1 had his second birthday when twins were a month old. My mum said she was bringing food for the party. She turned up with...a Thomas cake...and a bottle of champagne..and that was all. So that's what we had. Possibly bread and butter. Luckily there were no guests except us, but still Confused

nutty I think you would be brilliant in PTA, but beware, everyone will pile things on you if you show the least enthusiasm/efficiency.

Afternoon quick notes before pick-up time.
Found a new routine I hope to stick to for Thurs & Friday.
Thursday will roughly look like this
W/M on 1st thing
Walk Ds to school return Home
W/M next load on
Walk to gym 1 hour there (swam today as I got there to late for a class!)
Pick up bits shop (you know what I mean)
Home a bit of lunch
Big tidy no cleaning cleared out draws of summer clothes (threw some away they are really rags)
Changed bed.
Do recycling
Friday
Will be big clean (easier if things are already put away)
Clean fridge & big food shop.
That should make the house clean for the weekend.
Back in a mo for chatty stuff

Swan Not going back. I will offer in future to help other people with there plans. I think a DS's BF's Mum and I, will get together to organise the 'Fun Run' in Bushy Park next year. No one wants to do it. She can go to the meetings and I'll back her up there is no need for everyone to go. & that will be my big bit for the school.
dyls You've reminded me need to sort out lots of paperwork and organising adult social time. Smile See you lot on the other side ha ha

Hello all, can I jump on board? We have just realised we are skint until I go back to work, and the cleaner I took on has to go! So, I have started Flylady today.

So far I have shined my sink, and also done some laundry (which I know isn't on the babysteps but still an achievement in my book!).

Tomorrow I will actually get dressed as soon as I get up, instead of waiting for DD to have her first nap. I think that's a really good idea.

I am now prepping ingredients for dinner while baba sleeps to save work later on.

So how does this thread work? Can someone give me a quick tutorial?

thank yoooouuuu :)

Hi ginger Welcome. It starts with this site
flylady home but you don't need to read the whole thing. But she gives tips on routines h//ttp://www.flylady.net/pages/FLYingLessons_Routines.asp#morninghere I don't follow this as I work part-time but it gives you an idea. On this thread we have a look at the mission for the week and might follow them every day if you want Mission
But to be very basic most of us post our list of housework type things to do, the come on later and tick off the things we've done. Sometimes pass comments on various Home type conversation about kids & DH's. Sometimes pick up good tips from each other.
If you haven't got time to read the site we normal pass on bits of fly sland and someone will example it to you if you ask such as the '21 fling boogie' Is it '21' or some other number. The whole Fly thing is based on having less in your house so you have less to clean. So dump that coffee maker on e-bay if the only thing you do with it is dust it. Hope that helps Smile
