Would you recommend your toaster?

Our toaster has broken. I've looked at Which? but all their best buys have poor actual reviews. John Lewis and Amazon have mixed reviews for all of them. confused

I don't think we're in the market for a £150 Dualit one unless you convince me. We just want one that toasts evenly but DH says it must fit thick bread too.

I've had a Russell Hobbs 4 slice toaster for 13 years, still going strong (I this time I've had 3 children so it's had good usage!).

Had my Dualit 4 slice toaster for 24 years. Still working fine.

Yep Dualit has lasted longer than my 14 year marriage! Before that we got through about 3 or 4 cheap toasters (slightly dodgy electrics in an old house I think) but Dualit is used almost daily and still going strong with no elements needing replacing etc. More than earned it's keep.

My Dualit isn't great for thick muffins etc though

Yes. We have this one in a different colour. I love it.

Dualit, indestructible. It does toasties, bagels, muffins using the sandwich cages.

My dualit must be nearing 20 years old!
