What facts do I need to gather?

OK, me and DP have decided to have a proper, sitting down, no distractions, chat about the education of our DDs. We are wanting to have as much info to hand to help us make our decision, which could be either starting off with school, with HE as an option or starting off with HE with school as an option. We have toyed with flexi school and/or private (with some kind of massive scholarship which I don't think exists anyway).

What information do you think I need to find out to help us?

Goodness knows!

Do you maybe need two meetings? A first one, and then, if you find there is more info you need to help you decide, some time to find that info before a second meeting?

How about both reading a couple of books before your meeting - maybe Free Range Education and How Children Learn At Home? Could you both write notes as you read them about 'topics for discussion'?

These are all good ideas! We just decided it was too important a subject to be decided while we were only half concentrating. We have a tendancy to kind of wander into things, so we need to actually discuss it properly.
