I have been searching for a Home Ed group in West London to no avail and am now considering my own group. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I will endeavour to get a group up and running.

I've just been contacted by a friend of a friend who is about to begin home-educating her three boys aged 7,5 & 3; she's about to move to Perivale, near Ealing. I've told her to join mumsnet if she's not on already, and I'll pass your enquiry along to her also.

Have you joined the west london HE yahoo group here ? I think there are some groups in west london, some sporting type activities and also one called the log cabin which meets on alternate Wednesdays in Ealing area, but I'm sure if you post on the group you'll get proper details. Also it'd be a good way to gauge interest.

Thank you, I wasn't aware of that group - I will look at it now.

Hi everyone

I am considering home educating my daughter but am looking into the social network that is available as I want her to mix with other children. I live in South Ealing and would be interested in meeting up either in small unorganised or larger organised groups.

Please feel free to contact me via email, I would love to hear any advice and especially be interested in meeting up with other home educators.

Claire

Hi Clairemaeve, I'm also in the Ealing area, however, my son is older. I've now joined the West London Yahoo group, as suggested by lilyfire, which appears quite promising in terms of group activities.

Hi

I have been home schooling for a while and have been travelling different countries for the last few years, now that im back and am a little more stable and settled, i would like my kids age 7 and 8 to enroll in some weekly activities with other kids. i have the academic side planned out well but i would like them to interact with other kids. Does anyone have any suggestion, i.e. art classes, judo, footbal, swimming etc. I live in the west ealing area of West London.

Thanks

shaheda
