I wanted to go, but we've been to America for a wedding and done two camps already this year, so sadly I was too poor to take any more time away from work (self-employed so no holiday pay). DD is only 4 as well,so might have been alot to keep track of her in such a big camp anyway. I do plan to go eventually, maybe next year...

cool james79

Pitch somewhere away from the main marquee though-as that is where the teens will be!

How old are your children?

Sorry you can't be there anastaisia-hopefully next year.

Hello!! thanks for the tip! We have two children. Our little girl will be three in September and our little boy will be one next month. I have to confess to having read lots of your posts...you are somewhat a guru hey?! So all of this is fairly new to us, we are very open minded and looking forward to meeting likewise people. What about you? Is it four you have??

I have three that were home educated-youngest has just passed the end of her compulsory schooling age, and three step children who went to school.

Step children and their children love HesFes too! My step grandchildren started attending when they were toddlers.

But sadly only me and ds and dd2 going this year. (car filled up with other young people though)

LOL! to 'guru'
Just passionate that accurate information that HE is a legal viable choice, equal in law to school is out there. Then parents can make an informed choice about what is best for their family at the time.

Enjoy HesFes! Maybe we'll see you there in the crowds.

I just need some time to pack now though!

Wow sounds like you guys are pros! We are so excited, the kitchen is full of stuff everywhere and numerous checklists, i've cooked up food to freeze and have been pottering about in the van.
It sounds like your car journey will be tons of fun Julie. Yes i'll be the one looking starry eyed in awe! (was hoping to make the welcome tea but we won't be arriving till Sunday as we have a prior engagement Saturday evening)
Ah Riven a bell tent hey? they look fab i'm sure you and your number 3 will have a great time, hope you've packed your bunting! Mine's hanging up all ready to go! I'm sure the others will be thinking of you and having fun at home too.
