Hi, the only one I can remember was conquermaths which is an online or cd rom.

Will have to turn my house upside down to see if i can find the magazine, or was in on a loose paper insert, in which case it will no doubt be in the bin.

Can I also ask if anyone has used Mathletics online Maths programme?
I'm thinking of getting it for grandson.

My class won a subscription to Mathletics last year, after taking part in World Maths Day. They loved it. It's really well thought out, and fun to use. It's curriculum coverage is very good.

Maths Whizz is very good too, for 8-13 year olds.

my ds aged 9 has tried a few of these packages (you can get a free trial with most of them)and he chose Meleto. I was surprised because the programme doesn't contain cartoon characters or reward stars etc. just plain old fashioned maths. Considering my ds LOVES games on every console available, I thought his choice odd to say the least. He willingly goes onto Meleto a few times a week.
If only I could find an English/Spelling/Grammar site for him !!!!!
