Thinking of HE - advice needed

Hi,
Dd is in year 7 she has been bullied from the start and hasn’t settled at the school. We are trying to get her into the other local secondary but they have no spaces at the moment. Her current school seem to be doing very little to help her and we are getting increasingly worried about her mental health if she continues at her school.
Until we are able to get her into the other school we are considering home education.
Can anyone give me advice about where to even begin. I have a nearly 2 year old at home as well and don’t know how I’d manage HE with him around. I’m really struggling g with what to do for the best.

Get yourself onto facebook and look up "home education" with your county or nearest big city. get a feel for how many home educators there are in that area, and what the style is - there may be group classes/workshops and things going on.

I very much second Ommmward. The local group will give you
a feel for what others do and there may be group classes. If possible meeting an experienced home educator for coffee can answer a lot of questions and be very reassuring

My daughter is in Y8 and was struggling with friends at school and really unhappy. We took her out of school before Easter and she’s been at interhigh this term which has been great. She’s enjoyed it and academically it seems pretty good. There aren’t as many lessons as at a normal school as you don’t have extras like PE and art etc so there are gaps in the day but she’s used these for doing home work, cooking and craft projects. She’s just got an offer at a really good school locally but we’re not sure whether to accept (I’ve just posted about our dilemma about this...)
