Hi I was given a number for NISIA and told I need to inform them that my daughter has been Deregistered from school and is home educating. I have rang the elective home education team (Cambridgeshire) and left a message (not heard back from them!) I have two questions: firstly what is NISIA and do I need to be contacting them? Secondly: I have written to School (mainstream) to Deregister and they have accepted I have also written to the relevant people at her secondary school to let them know my Daughter won't be accepting her place in Secondary school, is there anyone else I should be contacting?? Sorry for long post, tia Smile

As long as you have written a deregistration letter to the school, in the right legal form, then you don't have to inform any one else. Have a wonderful time!

I mean the right legal format. There isn't a specific form - just realised how ambiguous that was :-)
