Online Schooling Providers - help!

Hello! A friend of mine is looking for an online GCSE provider for her daughter (currently year 8).

Mainstream schooling isn't working out at the moment due to the pressure of it and the daughter has a lot of outside interests (gymnastics, art, photography, etc.) that are falling by the wayside due to the constant pressure of tests/homework/exam prep. She finds school a very stressful environment, and it is causing her a lot of anxiety.

The idea of online schooling has been brought up, and I'm trying to help find more information out (and, as usual, thought Mumsnet might be able to help!).

They are looking through a few providers, and want somewhere where she will have the ability to interact with other students, at least some live lessons/tuition, and that won't cost the earth!

I wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation, and can help? Having looked through quite a few different websites, we're beginning to worry that maybe we've missed something really good just because it hasn't shown up in our search results, and someone with personal experience would really be able to help us there.

Thanks in advance!

My DD14 is going to start a trial with Interhigh after the Easter holidays.
I'm hoping she will continue after so we can say goodbye to formal education.

my daughter is using myonlineschooling.co.uk as it was recommended on here to me and she had a free trial and loved it. Ive now signed my son up to do a GCSE history with them too and he also really likes it
Its still quite small at the moment though, as only opened in september and theres usually only one other kid in the class at a time. This works for my kids though as they struggle a lot in big classes

Interhigh is also pretty good My neices did this for a couple of years and thought it was good. Probably the biggest one, so more opportunity for interaction and occasional meet-ups.

There is also briteschool
