Hi, does anyone have experience of internet schools, such as Inter High? Thinking of taking the plunge and home schooling my DS2 as we live in France and he wants to specialise rather than do the full French Bac.

Hi frenchy

My DD is at Interhigh, I can only speak highly of the school and staff

The teachers are a broad mix and very encouraging, language staff are native speakers etc

We have met up with the staff at interhigh weekend and the kids all had an awesome time, in fact key stage 3 has a meet up next week that should be fantastic

It's opened a whole new world up to DD, lots of online socialisation out of school hours online

The youngsters I have met all seem to have developed quite a mature attitude to learning which can only stand them in good stead

Feel free to pm me but honestly Natalie and the support staff are so friendly and supportive if you want to chat

Wow, that's a great recommendation! Thanks so much - I'm feeling much more reassured about it. Good to hear that there is a chance of socialisation. Thanks for the offer to pm you. I may well take you up on that suggestion, it's still very early days.
