You would really need to ask DH as he is the SAHP but what I would say is that the first two years are so incredibly trying that it's not possible to imagine having any sort of life of your own, but it gets rapidly better after that! Hang on in there! Home educating or not, I don't think there's anything more all consuming than the first year or two of your childs life. With the first one I found it hard to imagine getting a life back, but DC 1 is 3.5 now and already things are an order of magnitude easier. It will come to you too.

Child care: Lots of home edders use child minders or nurseries. Parents work at different times of day so one can be with the children. Once they get older, you will get to know other families well enough that you can swap children when needed.

Patience! All this is unimaginable when your children are tiny!!
