Forums for HE 15 year-old?

Hi everyone
I’m looking for internet forums that my (rather shy) teenage son could join. It says on the Education Otherwise site that they have several forums for kids and teens. Does anyone know if these are active or not? You have to join EO to participate, and money is so tight at the moment that I would hate to pay for membership and then find out that there are no kids on the forums!
Or are there any good alternatives for HE kids? We have lived abroad for several years (but now back in the UK) and the teenage years are a tricky time, especially if you’re a bit shy. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Come and join the mumsnet home education fb group- send a message to the admin on joining or pm me here, and we'll point you to HE teens FB groups

Thanks, I had not thought of that! Unfortunately none of us are on facebook (dinosaurs!) but I suppose we should think about joining sooner or later!
