Please help me find a carpet

I'm currently redecorating my hall and need to find a carpet for the stairs. It's going to be a runner, with the rest of the stairs being painted white. The landing is wooden so the carpet is just for the stairs. I'm after something interesting as the rest of the hall is very plain, but equally I don't want it to date too quickly. I'm not keen on stripes and would love something like a subtle chevron design. With everything being shut I can't browse in real life so need to send my carpet fitter some ideas to save him multiple trips with samples I don't like! Please share anything you have/have seen. Photos of real life halls also very welcome smile Thank you!

Thanks @sleepismysuperpower1 I like the boldness of that but unfortunately DH needs to agree to it and he definitely prefers subtle!

This company has some lovely subtle ones

I love this, but I don't want to have the rods, so I'm looking for a carpet in the same pattern which the fitter can trim to size and then fit. I just can't seem to find any carpet like it (in budget anyway grin)

That’s defintely not subtle...🤣

@bluntness100 I know ! I reckon I can convince DH on it though as the pattern is consistent grin

Oh last post didn't load either. What do people think of this? I really love it but hard to imagine as there are no other pictures. I think it would need a border. This is getting complicated

We've chosen this carpet for our stairs but will be getting it made into a runner. Its by Kersaint Cobb
