We have this oak dining table
www.johnlewis.com/bethan-gray-for-john-lewis-noah-6-8-seater-extending-dining-table-limited-edition-walnut/p441074
and we need to replace the chairs. Ideally I'd like something quite retro with padded chairs (DH requirement) and mid-price ranged <£100 per chair.
e.g. I love this but way out of price range.

Also could go with bold colours.

Any ideas of styles or even websites that might be good to browse.

How about something like these from Amazon? The listings are for 2 chairs so they're a good price.

Thanks! I think the patchwork is a bold colour too far but the white ones are nice. Think the pale wood not quite right though.

These are similar to the ones you like. £139. https://www.cultfurniture.com/furniture-c10/chairs-c3/wishbone-wooden-dining-chair-black-faux-leather-seat-walnut-p13562
There are other upholstered mid-century dining chairs on Cult Furniture.

Oh those are lovely but probably a bit over budget (tempted tho!)

Have you considered Stockholm chair at Ikea? £115 so might be over budget.

Thanks. Surprised I didn't spot that. It is a bit more than I was hoping to pay and more worryingly the two reviews are not great. Will keep looking...
