Any sun lounger experts about?

I want to invest in one or 2 comfy loungers but don't know what to go for.

My db could probably make a wooden one if there were comfy enough lounger cushions available - preferably waterproof. Don't want to break the bank but want decent quality with comfort being priority

Any dos & donts from experience would be most helpful, thank you!

Depends on a few things

Do you want the to fold up to store in the winter?

Do they need to be high enough to get off easily

Do they need to be longer or stronger than average?

Are they just for lying down on or do they need to adjust to sitting postions

What sort of price range are you looking at?

We've got rattan ones with cushions before these we had textilene, both really comfy.

Get ones with arms and multiple recline and if you have cushions make sure you take them in or have somewhere to store them as they will go mouldy.

Rattan can be expensive, we got ours at a local garden furnishings place, shop around online as they vary in price a lot.

I love one like this for comfort
<a class="break-all" href="https://smile.[[//amazon.co.uk/marko-Outdoor-Lounger-Recliner-Furniture/dp/B07TC6R69G/ref=sr_1_95?dchild=1&crid=KTRIHXWH7KLM&keywords=zero%20gravity%20sun%20lounger&sprefix=zero%20g%2Caps%2C175&qid=1590781848&sr=8-95&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">https://amazon.co.uk/marko-Outdoor-Lounger-Recliner-Furniture/dp/B07TC6R69G/ref=sr_1_95?crid=KTRIHXWH7KLM&dchild=1&keywords=zero%20gravity%20sun%20lounger&qid=1590781848&sprefix=zero%20g%2Caps%2C175&sr=8-95&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21]]
but it's very low - and as I'm getting older I'm less inclined to use it unless I expect to be there for a couple of hours. (Mine was B&M £25)

This is what I'm going for a variation of this year -

<a class="break-all" href="https://smile.[[//amazon.co.uk/garden-Recliner-Reclining-Reflexology-Furniture/dp/B01ET27KMU/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&crid=KTRIHXWH7KLM&keywords=zero%20gravity%20sun%20lounger&sprefix=zero%20g%2Caps%2C175&qid=1590781720&sr=8-3&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">https://amazon.co.uk/garden-Recliner-Reclining-Reflexology-Furniture/dp/B01ET27KMU/ref=sr_1_3?crid=KTRIHXWH7KLM&dchild=1&keywords=zero%20gravity%20sun%20lounger&qid=1590781720&sprefix=zero%20g%2Caps%2C175&sr=8-3&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21]]

Will buy cushions separately. Many variations of this one at very variable prices.

Following with interest, I've been looking for two new ones but cannot find any in stock anywhere!

I have been looking but literally everywhere has sold out. The only ones about are ridiculously expensive. I've decided that the only way to get myself a decent tan in my back garden is to buy an inflatable one from Amazon. (Can't get comfy lying on a towel on my decking or flags and I don't have any grass).

I bought several zero gravity recliners from Homebase £45 each
They are chairs but recline back and the leg bit at the front goes up .
They are very very comfortable and for £45 each I am really pleased
You don’t have to put it together apart from the pillow which attaches . They fold up so easy to store away
Then I bought a glass top round table and two rattan type chairs from B&M for £40 I only wanted the table but the two extra chairs were a bargain.

These are the ones I bought they look much much better in real life but I like the fact that they both recline in the back and front making them super comfy
My dad sits in them and he’s 17 stone so no problem with taking weight

Thanks all - some good advice & yes want sturdy-I am much too sturdy so needs to be strong & fairly high up as my back isn't great.

I'd like them to store away but would prefer comfort. Lots of them out of stock! Will try local places & Argos. Just remembered my comfy recline camping chair for the interim
