What colours with dark blue feature wall?

We are planning on redecorating our bedroom and have pretty much decided on a dark blue feature wall but can't decide on the colour for the rest of the room.
The room is a decent size, is south facing and has an enormous window so is very light and sunny. The feature wall would be the wall opposite the window and at the moment we have dark blue curtains which we may change if jt ends up being too much blue when we're done.
We may end up going for a crisp white on the other walls but I'm not sure if I want something a bit softer. But I'm terrible at matching colours and can never visualise what a finished room will look like so tend to pick a safer option. I definitely do not have the nerve to paint the whole thing blue

Does anyone else have a dark blue wall, what other colours do you have?

We've painted our living room dark blue and it's lovely, peaceful and calm. We have lot's of tans, natural wood, greens and golds and they all "pop" with the dark blue background. I'm a fan of all over colour but I've seen dark blue teamed with pale grey, soft pinks and tans, lighter blues or white. All look good.

It's your house and your room, be brave and do what you want to do. It's just paint and you can re paint if you hate it.

Soft grey or ivory/calico colours.

The tans the pp suggested sound good.

I have polished Pebble in my kitchen, it's kind of a pale grey/blue, would go nice.

My bedroom is stiffkey blue. Started to paint one wall and the other ones (newly painted in white) looked odd, so I did the whole room, up to picture rails. Live it, it looks ace. Navy curtains too

Possibly a bit dull but I would go white a white with woods/natural materials

B and Q fairbanks goes nicely. A nice pale neutral that will still allow other contrasts for accessories such as mustard, tan, grey etc.

Do the whole lot in the blue. Feature walls feel dated to me.

But if you really want a feature wall a pale blush would work with it.

Argh I have to say I'd just be brave and do the lot, feature walls are boring!
