And if they do and they know the shade would you be willing to post a picture? I'm looking for inspiration :-)

Me. I can't post a picture but I've got B&Q Antibes paint on my living room wall and I absolutely love it. Looks particularly good with a white painted fireplace.

I though I'd keep in on the chimney breast - and made DH paint 3 walls silver grey and then the chimney breast in that, which he did.

I liked it so much I then made him paint all the walls in it Grin.

I had thought it would be too dark, but it's a big Victorian room with astripped wooden floor and I do love it.

I have farrow and ball railings in my living/dining room/study I can't post a picture as it would be outing but this is the effect and I love it. BTW it is a dark room (lower ground floor) with little natural light so it works well.

I can't post a pic but my end walls of my living/dining room are navy blue. I colour matched it to my curtains. The wall are a light mushroom grey matched to the background colour of the curtains. The room is very big - about 40x16ft, with 11ft ceilings. Big victorian.
I wouldn't paint a main living room all dark, but bedrooms can look fantastic with an all over dramatic colour.

I have a dark red colour, which is similar to Dulux Roasted Red.
I have north and northeast facing windows in the room. Most of the walls are covered with bookshelves.
I felt I needed a strong warm dark colour to offset the varied colours of all the book spines and the cold light. I also have dark red chesterfields and dark red velvet curtains because I didn't want to bring in more colour to argue with the book spines.
I wanted a cosy library effect. My sister calls it “the wine vat”. 🙂

We've got F&B Hague Blue on our chimney breast with a white fireplace and white shelves either side. We did it before navy blue became really fashionable, but I still absolutely love it.

That sounds fab, Giggorata. I chose red, stupidly changed my mind to green at the last minute and have regretted it ever since.

Also got B and Q Antibes, lovely colour! Was going to pair it with Dulux Polished Pebble, but as we had some white sections of wall it didn't work! Ended up painting over it with Antibes as we just loved the colour!

This isn't my house, just lifted it from somewhere else. But, we've got Little Greene's Marine Blue. Looks good. Have Inchyra Blue as well - nice but a bit bored of that now.
