Recommend a bed with small frame please

We're looking for a new King Size bed, but our room is small and we don't want to waste a lot of space with headboards/frames.

We currently have a divan, and I like that it only takes up the size of the mattress, but I'd prefer a bed on legs so we can store stuff easily underneath, and easier for vacuuming etc. I don't really like the divans with drawers.

Any recommendations would be a great help!

Have you looked at IKEA?

They do a base on legs, without the surrounding frame...

They also supply legs 😊

Oh I have never heard of this! Thank you, that looks like a runner. Will have a proper look when I am on my laptop later.

I’m looking for similar and this is brilliant! THank you. Has anyone been able to find the legs on the Ikea website? I can’t but need to know how high off the ground the bed will be!
Also do Ikea beds still come in odd sizes? Do you have to get the mattress from them too to be certain it fits? That would likely be a deal breaker.

I've had a wee look this morning.

You can pick "standard king" which measures 150cm wide /200cm long. This is the normal UK king size (I checked a few other websites to make sure!).

They also do European King which is 160 x 200. I have made this mistake before when buying their duvets, and nearly had a heart attack wrestling it into a standard cover.

The legs come in 10cm or 20cm

I will quiz a staff member before actually buying though!
A dodge sized duvet easier to live with than a mahoosive bed Grin

Ha! Thank you! Great detective work. We can’t afford it yet anyway so if you do get it please review! I’ll check back if we ever get paid...

We have to wait for shops to reopen here, so could be a while, but I will definitely let you know how it goes.
