Does anyone else enjoy upcycling furniture?

I've just bought an antique solid wood wardrobe off Ebay for £15 and painted it silver on the outside but leaving it old inside as that's in good nick.

It's for my 19 year old ds room. It's being decorated by dh and myself with some wallpaper that has a metal panel and rivets pattern.

Poor lad hasn't had it done since we moved here 10 years ago Blush

It's certainly going to be an improvement.

I'm loving the upcycling and have done a bit before. I just wish I had room to do more as would like to do some steam punk inspired items.

I love up-cycling furniture too! My limit it sanding down, staining and changing knobs!! I did make a herb garden from a palette this summer, though! I just need more spare time Shock

I know more spare time would be great.

I've looked on etsy at some upcycled wardrobes that have gone for over 300. Mine cost £30 in total.

I love renovating furniture, you can pick up really good bargains in charity shops & with a bit of elbow grease transform the look or refreshing furniture I already have, I find it quite relaxing & it’s nice having unusual pieces.
@incognitomum sounds really good👍🏼

Yes @dontcallmelen it's amazing what a difference a lick of paint can do.

Yes me- and I absolutely love it!
Want to try to sell one of my latest project.
Great YouTube channel about flipping furniture is Jami Ray Vintage- this lady has literally home business with her husband and is very good at it!
