I am living in a lovely period home (not mine). Walls of the sitting room are a sort of grey with maybe a hint of brown (possibly this: https://www.farrow-ball.com/paint-colours/hardwick-white). The deep skirting board and ceiling and top part of wall is all white. The large fireplace has been blocked up and painted white. None of my furniture goes. It all looks a mish mash and the room just looks a bit... Scruffy rather than a lovely period room. How can I bring it all together?
I think its the furniture that s the issue here! I have a navy chaise, cream chaise, brown sofa, red chair. Cushions maybe a goer! The curtains covering the huge window are cream with green leaves on them. It would be great to match them with a cushion but I have NO IDEA where to get them?!
