Japanese Futon, Wallbed or Sofa bed?

Recently downsized to a 2 bed flat after divorce.
Quite happy with everything and nice area etc.
Only drawback is that I have 2 DC and 2 bedrooms in the flat.
One DC is beginning puberty so I’d like the kids to have a bedroom each.
That means I will have to sleep in the lounge. It’s ok, it’s big enough and we dot have a lot of junk generally so not cluttered.

What would be the best furniture to sleep on? I would like to put it away during the day so wall bed (Murphybed), futon or sofa bed? And if anyone could recommend any specific makes/models, that would be even better!
Thanks 🙏

Wallbed in this case I think. Very easy to use and you can keep it made up too. Have you looked at the Studybed or, at the other end of the scale price wise is Wallbed King.

Good quality sofa bed - some are made to be suitable to sleep on each night. It will be more expensive obviously but worth it. Then during the day you will have a sofa in the lounge.

I loved my futon but not everyone likes them. We did this years ago and it worked fine

Thanks for your replies. So far one vote for each 😂

Drip feed alert: sorry but I forgot to mention that I have a really nice sofa already (unfortunately not a sofa bed though).

I was thinking wall bed but they are mega bucks. Are they really worth it?

Wallbed King are not megabucks and you use your own mattress. I haven't got one yet but am looking into it.
