Is it weird to paint rooms the same colour?

I've decorated the dc's playroom Inchyra blue by Farrow and Ball (colour matched). It is so absolutely stunning and I have fallen in love with the colour so much that I desperately would like to paint our bedroom the same colour. The playroom is across the corridor from our bedroom. Would it be odd to do them both the same????

Nope
All my house is the same color.

I like uniform colours across rooms, and it is a lovely colour.

Not at all, your house, your colours.
Plus I'm pretty sure the bedroom wont be dressed like the playroom?
Also when you buy a new build its magnolia all the way through, and no one finds that weird.

Plus that's a gorgeous shade of blue, I love it!!!

All my rooms are either one shade or another of the same colour. I think it provides cohesion and helps the rooms flow together and the tiny house feel a bit bigger, so I say go for it.

I use to think that each room needed to be a different colour, have its own style. That is until I visited a friends house which has recently been painted and OMG it's gorgeous painted all the one colour. Each room still looks different as the soft furnishings and furniture is different. I liked it so much I'm currently going through colour charts. I'd say go for it. If you love it so much you won't regret it.

Thanks everyone. It's a good point that it will be dressed completely differently to the playroom so will contrast it that respect. It gets more light too so will probably look a bit different because of that.

I think houses look more put together and flow better when they have the same or similar colours on the walls. It's a good idea and finding paint colours you really love is quite difficult so go for it!

My house is magnolia walls with white ceilings throughout, except bathrooms which are tile floor to ceiling. Not much in the way of paint choice where I am. I could have it mixed and use different colors but it's expensive.

All my rooms are in the same shade/colour palette. I think it looks so much better when varieties of a colour flow from room to room.
