Self-adhesive wallpaper - hit or miss?

Hi there.
I'm thinking about putting up some mural wallpaper in my bedroom, but having never wallpapered before I've recently discovered that you can get self-adhesive - no paste required .
Has anyone used it? Would you recommend it?

I used self adhesive border wallpaper and it went on ok and looks great.
