We are looking at buying our new kitchen from DIY kitchens, and like the look of a painted or lacquered door range.
Our current kitchen is made from fake walnut laminate stuff, and shows virtually no stains - even if it is stained after nearly 40 years of use, I can't see them!
I'm liking the lighter coloured kitchens - light greys and neutrals, but I'm concerned that I'll accidentally splash some curry or tomato pasta sauce on it while I'm cooking, not see it immediately to wipe it off, and end up with stained doors etc...
Can anyone advise whether I'm being overly cautious, or if I should genuinely be concerned about this and pick a darker shade for at leas the bottom units, so that I don't have to worry so much?
I've already decided that we'll probably get a darker coloured laminate worktop, as we can't afford anything like quarts/resin worktops.
Thanks very much!
