Flooring recs please for split level -hall, stairs & landing

I would love parquet but budget will definitely not stretch to reclaimed & although modern stuff looks nice enough, I've not seen anything amazing before.

I like the feel of warmth from wood

Oops-posted too soon, but willing to get a good laminate also. We also need new floor in the living room off the hall so will probably do it all the same, budget depending.

Has anyone got flooring they love or would avoid like fury?! Any tips appreciated

I am not a fan of carpet and fortunately the downstairs is all parquet (1970’s type blocks).

The intention was to do the stairs to match but this was too expensive and not a diy job so we ended up carpeting the stairs.

I will be watching to see if any other solutions come up.
