Fabric noticeboard

Has anyone seen any good fabric noticeboards around? I fancy one of those diamond-ribbon ones (French memo boards?) in grey. I've found some on Not On The High Street/Etsy/Amazon for about £25 but it's a bit more than I was hoping to spend. Making my own is an option but I don't really have time at the moment. The cost of materials means I probably ought to bite the bullet and pay £25 Smile

I made one. Cost me about a fiver and took less than an hour. I used a painting canvas as the vase to save time.

Thanks both! I checked Dunelm website yesterday buy couldn't find anything.

@coragreta do you mind me asking how you made it/ where you sourced your materials? Did you manage to get that padded effect?

I got the canvas from a pound store. Added padding from dunelm. Covered in fabric, also dunelm with a staple gun added ribbon and buttons.

Thank you! Maybe I'll investigate! I was envisaging hot glue guns and all sorts. I had a look on ebay to see if I could find a premade one but they all looked a bit amateurish (and wonky!) - it put me off making one. Maybe I could get a better effect.

Glad I'm not alone BestNany Smile

Thanks Squirrels! I'd found the first one (not keen on the frame) but the second one didn't come up in my searches. It's great price but unfortunately I have my heart set on something grey and possibly a bit bigger. I'm wondering whether to scrap the idea and have a picture instead Grin
