So getting flummoxed, no surprise there, I have extension blindness.
We are redoing the hall in pavilion grey. Would peignoir and stiff key blue mix well for our bedroom? We're putting stiff key in the en suite. Hope the pics make sense.

I have Stiffkey Blue in my house, with Purbeck Stone on the woodwork. I had Peignoir in my bedroom, but it looked too pink (girly pink) so I painted over it with Elephant's Breath. You have presumably done the 'painting on a big card' thing, and sticking them all round the room? The colours look completely different in different rooms in my house. They also look different from how they look in friends' houses. Pavilion Grey (which is in my kitchen) looks beige in my friend's house...

I have Peignoir sample hanging in my bedroom. I thought it would read pink but I just don't see it at all.

I have peignoir in a west facing room - best way to describe it, is a cool but soft/muted blush pink and teal/navy/charcoal looks amazing with it.

I swear I had replied to aston before to say I did do the paper test but its still very hard to tell. Had to get the paint today. Have got peignoir and stiffkey so hopefully it'll look as nice as yours sounds mamia15. I have decided we'll do the corridor bit, window wall and wall by an suite in peignoir and the 2 other walls in stiffkey. Here's hoping for success!!!! Will try to remember to post some pics of the end result Smile

Fab combination, Bobkate - Peignoir works well as a neutral when using a second colour that is much stronger/darker and it goes well with other paler colours such as beige, stone, grey, cream and white.

Thanks. Glad I went with it. It's a lovely colour.
