Day and Night Blinds

Hi all,

We've just moved into our first home and our neighbours were burgled on Saturday which has kind of unsettled me. We own a corner plot, which has a wall surround but is pretty open to everyone to peer in if they stand on tip toes.

We're mid renovation and have only one blind up so we need to get a hurry on and get some more up.

I don't know if I'm being dense but if I was to buy a day and night blind - if I have it transparent during the evening and you have a light on can those outside see in???

And has anyone used 247 blinds before??

thank you!!!

Can't comment on day and night blinds but I've used 247 blinds 3 times. Perhaps I don't read the details properly but they always take longer to come than I expect (maybe it's the width of the windows) so given you want them quickly I suggest you order over the phone so you can double check the delivery date maybe?

We have them downstairs in our bay window for days I'm feeling unsociable (and they were cheap).

Basically all it is is a looped rollerblind with solid stripes and mesh stripes and you can either have it set so the solid stripes match up and you've got strips of mesh that you can see through showing up, or so the solid stripes are staggered so it's all opaque and you can't see through at all. For what we use them for I like them. You can still see in a bit when they're on "open" setting - not massively though and it would be obvious you were having a good look (doesn't stop the fucking chuggers trying).
