Ok so we are having a new kitchen fitted, the cupboards are white gloss, work surfaces are called zinc (charcoal/black) and we are having walk tiles which are a green/grey (I'll try to add a pic of the tile colour). We are having a nice oak floor which again I'll try to post a pic. But we are struggling with what colour to paint the walls, it's a kitchen diner so need the same colour in dining room too and will probably use the same in the hallway so it looks complete and together if that even makes sense 🤔. I want a warm colour to bring out the warmth of the oak but it's also got to look nice with a white and black kitchen! I've tried samples of valspar whisper softly and sheer shadow but neither of them look like they do on the swatch card! Please help!

Can anyone help me with paint colour...

I don't think you do want a warm colour - I think you need a clear neutral that the oak will stand out against. A warm colour with all those cool tones is going to look very odd.

Ty F&B Blackened - it picks up colour from everything around it and is is brilliantly adaptable.

It's ok I googled it! I've heard some negative things about them though.

Farrow and Ball.

You don't necessarily need to use their own paint, but colour match to it once you decide on a shade.

Egyptian Cotton from Dulux could work. Or Nutmeg White.
