If you have a carpet in your living room what colour is it?

I really want a new living room carpet. Ours is brown (was here when we bought the house) and coupled with our brown sofa makes the room look so dull!

However a quick browse online suggests that all carpets now are either brown or cream. Neither of which I want!

So please inspire me with your carpets! Pics very welcome...

We wanted something that wasn’t too cream or beige and a bit more grey. We went with a colour called Mineral. The picture doesn’t show it very well though...

Mine is pale grey as well. Had been down quite a number of years and as 80% wool, it doesn't get dirty.

Definately go to a shop and have a look at samples. It’s really difficult to choose a colour as the online photos are very different to the real thing.

You could just add an area rug to break up the browness.
