Swoon Editions Velvet chairs

I bought two velvet chairs (Camborne) From internet based company swoon less than 18months ag, these chairs have hardly been sat on and I mean less than 15 Times .... the velvet fabric has ripped !!!! Swoon are not interested and saying that their fabrics are all tested !
They’ve admitted all their furniture comes from abroad and they can’t replace it because they don’t have anymore !!!
Has anyone else had the same problem ??
