Any idea how pendant lights can be fixed to a skylight? Our dining table will under a large skylight, which is made up of 5 sheets of glass with 4 aluminium supports in between and I would like to hang pendant lights so that they fall immediately above the dining table. This means that they somehow need to hang from the skylight... Any ideas / photos for how to do this would be massively appreciated!
I was wondering about fixing the light fitting to the timber at the edge of the skylight and then installing hooks in the aluminium supports between the glass so that the flex of the pendants can run horizontally across, then through the hook and down over the centre of the table, but the builder isn't sure if this will be possible... Any other thoughts?
And with 4 aluminium supports, how many pendants would you go for? I'd originally imagined 3, but that might look unbalanced... Would 4 be too much?
Any thoughts / ideas you've used in your home very welcome! Thanks!
