Repainting old hardwood kitchen units

Hello

I have a very good quality old oak kitchen and I would like to modernise it by having it repainted or sprayed in a grey tone? I would also like to change the splash back, the hinges and handles.

Could anyone recommend me a specialised painter/firm based in London that they used for that specific purpose and who they have been really happy with?
Is it better to hand paint or spray? Doors and drawerss only or inside too? I am a bit nervous to end up damaging my kitchen as I really don't want to change it.

Many thanks in advance for your help and time. I would be really grateful for any recommendation, tips, advice.

this blogger writes about her self kitchen makeover - her DH is a spray painter and he spray painted their kitchen doors.

I've used Recreate Kitchens in the past who offer a nationwide service. They were fantastic and very reasonable, they'll also fill holes / change handles for you. Ours was a laminated kitchen (holiday home) but it came up looking fantastic.

Thank you very much for the recommendations. I am sorry for the late response, I completely forgot to check the site. Is there any way to get notifications via email?
Dear Fantasticmissfoxy, can I kindly ask you if they came on site to spray or hand paint all the part they could not take away with them?
Thank you in advance for your help.
