not quite home decor but....

I am after a storage tub/box of some sort to put my dog walking boots in at the front door to save carrying them through to the under stairs cupboard, dropping mud along the way. I'd store them inside during the winter months and maybe outside on the porch when it's not quite so cold.

So for now, I'm looking for something to go inside the hallway.

To the left of the front door, on the inside , the wall is approx. 60cm with a depth of 60cm before it reaches an internal door. the wall has a small radiator on it that juts out approx. 12 cm.
The décor is colour scheme is quite neutral, wood floor, white door with glass.
Any ideas please for what I can use?

We have a boot tray for just this sort of thing - if you boots have get wet you want whatever you use to be open so they can dry out. I bought it on eBay.

Thanks very much for the post wow.
I really wanted something that the boots would go in to be covered up I think.
But the tray will be a great idea for the back door for DC's muddy golf shoes
