Eyelet or pinched pleat curtains?

I'm getting new curtains for the lounge. I'm probably going to use this fabric.

I can't decide whether to go with pinched pleat or eyelet curtains. What would folk recommend?

Pinch pleat, eyelet looks a bit naff and suggests you've picked them up ready made rather than made to order x

If it's heavy material I wonder if eyelet would sit better? Get more than the width so it's fuller when closed.

eyelet is a much more casual look. i have them in our snug which is a more relaxed room but I have three pairs of curtains up on one pole in there to make them look more luxurious.

I've just bought some ready made curtains for our newly decorated dining room and they are also eyelet and it doesn't look right since the room is more formal. I'm going to make a pelmet I think to disguise them.

If you have the option pinch pleat will look better.

remember your folds will also be much deeper with eyelets. Thats why you need more fabric.

I don't like eyelet curtains - I think they look cheap but I'm not sure that pinch pleat will work with that fabric - it looks a bit stiff.
