Hi, this has been delivered and is due to be assembled (professionally, thankfully!blush) tomorrow. Probably far too late to ask opinions, but due to the width and height of the solid frame and the fact that it will completely cover it, will it be OK to position it in front of a radiator, with the long size against it iyswim? In terms of the room layout, this is where it'd be best as there's other furniture including a hemnes bureau and built in bookshelves and it means it's facing the window and a nice view when used as a sofa. What do you think???

no, it'll damage it.

I think it would be fine but the radiator wont be very effective.

You would probably need ~8-10cm gap to stop it blocking the heat / getting damaged.

You will then not be able to get items which inevitably fall down there ....
