Bed linen that doesn't need ironing

I'm looking for some luxurious-feeling bed linen that doesn't need ironing. Does such a magical thing exist? Ideally with fitted sheets since I'm getting too pregnant and fat to do hospital corners and my cleaner can't seem to manage them at all.
Willing to spend around £100-£150 if it truly is magical!

We have Hugo Boss bedding which is absolutely gorgeous to the touch. I don't iron it, I either line dry it or dry it over an airer for no creases.

Glad it's not just me. Grin

Mine is all 100% cotton and the sheets are 1000 thread count Egyptian. Never ironed them in my life. They seem fine, I think!

No bed linen needs ironed. Who does that?

Genuine question: ironing is to make things (clothes, usually) look better, no? So what is the logic behind ironing a sheet? Confused

Life is seriously too short to iron bed linen.

I've got linen sheets from soak and sleep - they're meant to look crumpled and feel gorgeous. They're about 2 years old and have just got softer and softer as they've been used and washed. Absolutely love them!

I don't iron my sheets. But they're cheap £5-10 IKEA sheets and they look rumpled and crumpled even minutes after I put them on. it is mostly the late pregnancy discomfort talking, but I've convinced myself I'd sleep nicely if only I had the right sheets!

Your body irons your sheets. I can’t get all this ironing obsession.

Ironing sheets? What is this hell you're speaking off? Shock

No one irons bed sheets. No one apart from me, dh and dc goes in my bedroom and they don't give a fuck and neither do I as long as it's clean. It might be crumpled at first but body heat does seem to iron out the creases themselves

I've clearly found my people. Ok, so no one irons sheets - now what fitted sheets should I get that'll get me some much needed peaceful sleep - what thread count and what brand?

I agree no bed linen needs ironing. But then I was astonished to read on another thread that 1000 quid bed linen exists. I go for something 100% cotton out if the Argos catalogue, 14.99 max if possible, preferably brushed cotton and just give it a shake Grin

We recently bought a fitted sheet from The White Company (300 thread count) and love it! It's gorgeous and soft. I've experimented with lots of different types of sheets (sheet junkie) and next to my linen from LinenMe, this one is the best.

I confess I iron linen sheets (I think we have two or three). There is something yummy and crisp about slipping into a freshly made bed with a linen sheet (I'm usually much lazier and use a cotton fitted sheet which doesn't get ironed).

However, it is very much my "I'm going to indulge myself" thing, which doesn't happen very often.

YY to White Company, but NEVER buy full price. They’re always having sales and events.

Some of the nicest, softest sheets we have are the Egyptian cotton ones from Sainsbury’s. They’re 400tc and it’s £16 for a double fitted sheet.

I love ironed sheets and a quilt cover, but it's a very rare luxury - in fact, I don't think I've done it at all since I had my little boy 2.5 years ago! Maybe one day when I have endless free time.... probably never happen again

None of my bed linen needs ironing ( much to DMs horror)

Who doesnt iron bedding? 😂 I don't usually iron the bottom sheet but couldn't make up a bed with an un-ironed duvet cover and pillow cases! It would just feel wrong! That's what trashy telly and a glass of wine is for; for doing the ironing!

One of my greatest pleasures is getting into bed with clean, ironed bedlinen 😊
