Need lots of cushions that aren't too £££

Hi, we are getting a day bed (hemnes from Ikea) and will need lots of cushions to make it comfy as a sofa when not folded out as a bed. Need a mix of neutral colours/textures and I'm v partial to faux fur but don't want to spend a fortune. Seen any bargains? I'll need to buy LOADS.

that's funny because we assembled the hemnes daybed at the weekend and then bought throws and cushions to go with it! We got them from The Range.
(Ds had been arranging them)

B&M are good for cushions and they have loads of choice.

Dunelm has a great selection.

We got throws as the mattresses would be bare otherwise. We put a mattress protector on first then the throws and then the cushions although ds has been snuggling up in the bigger throw we got

Also I would not go for the velour type ones as pictured I would go for a more structured cushion that holds its shape as day beds can easily end up looking like dogs bed. I'd also go for contemporary colours for a sophisticated look.

Primark has big cotton velvet cushions in a range of contemporary colours - silver, teal, plum, cream etc. Very good value.

eBay? I’ve just bought some cushions for my window seat, all were sold recently in JL I paid £5 max for them, feather cushions can also be bought of EBay very cheaply. Also lots of people sell cushion covers they’ve made from off cuts on eBay again reasonable prices.

Primark have some really cheap but lovely looking big and medium velvet ones in loads of different colours. Think they’re around £5 each. Check out B&M and the range too. Or Ikea if you’re near. I love H&M cushions but they sell the covers and cushions separately so you do end up spending more.

We have that daybed and it's loaded with cushions.

Tip: to cover the mattresses without throws (which in own experience scrumple up the minute anyone sits on them) I use a brushed cotton single fitted sheet. Doesn't look like a cotton sheet and stays perfect.

Here you are. There is a quilt on at the moment as we've got a guest sleeping there this weekend. But usually just a brushed cotton sheet.

Another saying H&M. The inner bit of the cushion is much better quality than the ones we have from John Lewis and the cushion covers wash really well.
