For DD bedroom.

Farrow and all Middleton pink too icy pink. Calamine not quite enough red tone.

Any dulux recommendations or other brands?

Just want a lovely blush/dusty pink that works well with brass accents

Thanks

I'm sure I recall a friend choosing f and b "setting plaster" when trying to get this type of colour but I might be wrong...

Little Greene Ashes of Roses?

Thanks BlueSheep. Didn't get a sample of Setting Plaster as the name just made me think colour just looked too much like actual plaster! Might reconsider.

Hi Dulux do a pink called blush pink, might be a little paler than you want Craig & Rose & Mylands also do some really lovely pinks would be worth a look.

Sippingsipsmith, yes some of the names sound really off putting, my decorator referred to elephants breath as elephants dung! Dead salmon is another one with an off putting name Confused

Thinking about it, I did see a lady at the mixing counter in b & Q once and she had with her a very dusty/dusky/powdery pale pink scarf and said it was the perfect colour she wanted-she was having it digitally copied to translate into paint and they were happy to do this...

Haha yes bluesheep8 would have thought they'd run the paint names past a focus group.

Apparently decorators hate using farrow and ball and prefer colour matching to dulux?

Have a look at Little Greene Dorchester. It's a very nice pink. I have the tester pot and it's lovely in real life.

We've just painted our new kitchen in Mylands palmerston pink- looks gorgeous with grey and copper, think it would work with brass too.

Crown Pashmina looks lovely with copper and different metals on Pinterest. I'm just trying to find a wall to paint it on.

Julie's Dream by little Greene is subtle and soft and great with copper.

Just did my dds room in colours, subtle pink blush from b and q. A lovely colour and also makes more of a statement on the walls than you think it will as looks very light in the tin

Was coming on to suggest Calamine Grin. I've just used it in a small bedroom and it's a lovely dusty pink. I wasn't sure from the tester but it's lovely on. Got it copied in Valspar paint.
