I'm having a wobble, I'm not sure the colour of the walls is working with the floor tiles in the family bathroom - thoughts?

And if it doesn't work any suggestions?

Yes, I think it goes well.

It's a lovely colour but I'm not sure it does to be honest. Could you change the tiles? If not I'd go for something more cream coloured.

I think it's a perfect match

Yes I think so. Great to have some colour with them as although the pattern is busy, the colour is quite muted. Looks lovely!

Looks good to me. The upper wall colour is a perfect match with the tiles and the warm blue breaks up the beige.

Love all three (walls, wood and tiles) but I think the tiles go well with the wall colour more than the wood tbh.

I can't decide if I think it is lovely or hideous...

No, you need a warmer grey, your tiles are brown and the walls are a cold bluish grey.

LittleMissMankyPants · 08/08/2017 20:19

Cold blue?! No way.

It's ok. Personally I'd go for pale grey or a muted green though, blue just feels a bit dated to me.

I think the colour match is ok, but I don't think the style of the tiles particularly goes with the panelling.

I can see what you mean, OP. Initially it looks great (and I love the floor tiles / panel look), but the blue tone isn't quite right the longer you look at it (although it isn't bad either). Might just be the picture quality on my phone though.

(Your tiles look grey to me btw, if they're actually brown I'd go for green instead!)

It looks lovely!

I'd go for a nice olive / sage green

Oh I love it. Great choice don't change it.

On my phone it looks like the tiles have warm tones and the paint has cool tones, making them clash a bit. But it might just be my phone.

These responses summarise my dilemma completely. I'll post some more pictures of the floor (which can't change...its new!). I'd say the floor is more grey than brown but a warm grey.
