White wooden slatted blinds

We have 3 windows in our quite colourful playroom - so was thinking if white wooden blinds to tone the room down a bit. One of the windows is stupidly thin (think 60cm) and the other two are fairly normal sized. So I think we either need made to measure (which we can't afford) or ones from a site like Blinds 2 Go. Has anyone used that site or similar?

Would you go with tape or no tape?

Needs to be child friendly

If one window is that narrow, I'd go for no tape

I bought some two weeks ago - wooden blinds direct with tapes 99cm width ones for £64. Great value

All our blinds are from blinds2go, including roller, wooden venetian (white) and roman blinds.

We love them and the sample service allows you to feel the product before you buy.

We have some with tapes (regret them) and no tape ones too. The tape ones make it more difficult to dust the blinds and because they are white the tape does show dirt far more than the cord ones.

Each blind is provided with a cord safety device to tidy the cord away.

Another vote for blinds2go. We have no tape, it looks more modern on the wider slatted blinds.

I've ordered samples today from Blinds 247. We are putting venetians in for the tiny (40cm wide) windows in our bathroom so we have had to go for wood effect, but the prices for real wood looked good. We'll certainly go with no tapes.

By law, blinds now have to be supplied with safety devices.

Thanks all. I ordered some samples from
Blinds 2 Go but not sure about the quality. Could anyone send me pics of their blinds in place? Thank you

Hopefully here's the photo of the blinds we had made in 2013. There are two sets for the large windows and a matching blind for the smaller window. We had the in faux wood because it was lighter to pull up and as the window are south west they wouldn't warp.
The safety pulls are controlled so they don't drop down all at once. They are as good as the day they were put up.
We have also had smaller ones for other rooms.

These are my new blinds from Blinds 2 go, I went for Pure White 50mm slats and Oyster tape. I love them, really easy to measure and fit. The only issue I had was that I was sent the wrong colour to begin with which set us back about 2 weeks as they had to make a whole new set, I also have to wait in for a day so they can collect the ones they sent that were wrong!
