Ottoman Bed Recommendations

We have a Tempur mattress on order but no bed. We've trawled the retail parks and online but can't find anything that's good quality and nice to look at. I would like a silver grey or natural coloured winged ottoman bed - something like this:

www.time4sleep.co.uk/beds/ottoman-beds/symphony-upholstered-winged-ottoman-storage-bed-natural

If you have an ottoman, where is it from? Tempur offers 10 year warranty as does Furniture Village. But we don't actually like their beds! The one above only has 12 months!

Our ottoman beds are from Beds on Legs but we haven't got the one you are looking at.

I requested fabric samples before buying.

I think most beds come with a limited warranty, even if the frame has a 10 year warranty things like hinges etc only come with 2.

Thanks Verity. That's a lovely bed, I'll check out the website. I really like some of the Next ones but there aren't any reviews and prices are quite high. I think I want some feet too and the next ones don't have any on their lift ups

We have a loaf one. I checked it out in their showroom. Dear, but serving us v well about 15 months in. I could still lift it up when heavily pregnant which has to be a good thing

Thank you Grubbywindows. I have my heart set on a Next one now but it's above my budget at the moment

If it's any reassurance, we have that exact bed, but in grey, from time4sleep and it's been great. It's used as a spare so not heavily but so far no issues, we've had it for about 2 years now. Good quality and fast delivery. Just be careful ordering though as idiot husband managed to order a double instead of a king and didn't realise until he'd already constructed it so we couldn't return Angry

My eldest has the Ikea Malm ottoman bed in a dark brown/blackish colour - bought to maximise storage in small flat on a tight budget.

Have been impressed, it wasn't difficult to assemble and provides a large storage space. Mechanism very easy to use and has done the job. I don't ask about other forms of wear and tear Grin

I'm impressed - 10 yrs is more than I was expecting him to get out of it, its pretty good value at that rate!

Verity, do you have that Ottowa bed? If so would you mind showing me a pic of it looking straight at it (if you don't mind), thanks

I have a lovely grey fabric one. It was around £400 and looks more expensive. It's solid aswell. I'll try dig out where I got it from for you to look at.

It's this one www.time4sleep.co.uk/kaydian-accent-upholstered-ottoman-storage-bed-slate?gclid=COST5u6nq9ICFQqdGwodkrcPQg

It's a bit lighter than it looks on there though and was a bit cheaper probably from somewhere else.

That's lovely Hgmother. I'm looking at their Brunel one. Can't figure out if the storage is less deep due to the legs. I prefer the legs on the Kaydian beds to the silver gliders on the other one. Agh! Overthinking much?
