Hello, I'm getting my own place after a divorce and I'm beginning crafting my own oasis!
I need to know where you recommend buying top quality bedding, I'm willing to pay good money - the bed is going to be my splurge item.
I'm thinking plain dye and layering up with different colours and textures instead of printed patterned duvets. I want it to be my cosy haven.
Very Pinterest-y if you know what I mean?

I only buy white, satin stripe bedding, 300 TC and over and the nicest set I own is from The White Company. The quality is lovely.

Try Cologne & Cotton or Soak & Sleep (lots of discount codes around for S&S and better quality than The White Company IMO.

King of Cotton or the aforementioned Soak & Sleep both excellent quality, good prices and customer service. I'd go for 400 thread count as a minimum - my favourite set is 1000 but it's a bugger to wash and dry.

I've got a gorgeous set from Yves Delorme. Really luxurious and so pretty!

Soak and Sleep! I run a launderette and it's quite honestly the only linen Id buy myself, it washes so so well and is excellent quality. Highly recommend! Especially the 400tc.

A wonan after my own heart! We basically spend 1/3rd of out life in bed so it should be the very best you can afford!

1200 thread count sheets and pillow cases and duvet cover from either Christy or Sheridan is what I would recommend. Look out at department atores for offers as they are not cheap but worth every penny!
Down duvets and pillow cases. I particularly love the down Europen phillow for a finish from Sherodan i think will check for you now.

Nothing beats slipping into the most luxurious bedding that has been freshly laundered after a long soak in the bath!

The best bedding manufacturers are either Yves Delorme or Frette. Expensive compared to the rest, but you will buy once and it will last for years and years.
Don't bother with high st, etc white company is poor quality and overpriced for such mediocrity.

Wow, so many new replies and I only went to get some food Grin

Thankyou, everyone! I will trawl through every last suggestion.

Yes, I will be getting a new mattress - I'm really not sure what my budget is going to be but I had heard of Vi Spring and my interest had been tweaked! Thanks for the advice.
