If you had this wallpaper...

What colour would you paint the other walls? I'm so rubbish at decorating Blush I have this wallpaper on the main wall in my bedroom and the rest of the walls are a kind of an "off white". I feel like the room needs some colour on the walls but have no idea what colour (nothing too dramatic)!

Thanks!

I think.you could get away with a raspberry pink, or any other colour picked out of the butterflies really. Just be aware that what look like bright colours in tins can look.very dark on the wall (bad experience with a purple landing!).

I would not go with anything big and bold with that wallpaper, it'll be too busy. I would probably bring home some sample papers and match it to the plants in the wallpaper. If feeling a bit daring, you could match it to a colour on a butterfly.

I think a nice pink shade would look good. The pp is so right about the difference from the tin to the actual colour though (we've just painted our little boys bedroom, and the paint that looked a lovely baby blue on the tin, was a few shades darker on the wall).

I just have no idea! Truth is I don't like the wallpaper (it looked nice on the roll) but we have only had it up since just before Christmas so I don't want to admit that I don't like it, I was hoping a coloured paint would take my mind off of it but I get what you mean about anything too bright and bold would be awful.

Will have to get some tester pots which I hate paying for!

Totally get what you mean about the colour not matching the tin as we had an incident in our hallway where the colour was SO different and not in a good way!

Something like Laura Ashley chalk pink could look good. It's a pinky beige when up and I think it might go well with those colours. Alternatively, go much bolder and pick out one of the butterfly colours.

Love the wallpaper btw
