Cot Size

Hi,
can someone pls tell me the average height of a baby cot / crib? I'm originally from the states and cribs are usually around 135cm. I just bought a crib but it's only 99cm... is that small or average height here?

Is it a cot or a crib as they are both different things? A cot is bigger than a crib

It's a cot.

We call a cot a crib in the states... all very confusing.

It does sound like a cot meant for a small nursery, where there's not much space. But around a metre tall is about right, I think. Length is going to be important, and how low to the ground the mattress can go. My cot bed (JL Rachel) is only 103cm tall, but my very tall 2yo can't climb out because the lowest setting is pretty low!

Thank you! I guess mine is normal. I was looking on websites and they all look around 100cm tall.

the mattress can be adjusted to a low setting so they Abby won't be able to climb out. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
