Chest of Drawers like Ikea Hemnes but not from Ikea

I'm looking for a large white chest of drawers for DD. I don't live anywhere near an Ikea, and Ikea don't deliver to where I am. I'm looking for an alternative. It needs to be quite sturdy. I've looked in charity shops and second hand shops for something I could paint but no luck so far. I would prefer to just buy a white one really. Has anyone any suggestions of where I could look? A bit wary of flat pack furniture on the whole but the Ikea stuff we have bought in the past has held up well. TIA

I would have loads of replies by now if I had titled this thread Chester Draws wink

I thought I had bought something similar from M&S in the past, but the drawers were all too shallow and useless

That's odd, where do you live? It says on the internet they deliver to mainland UK and northern Ireland, and through a shipping agent (if on address label when making the order).

I live in the Highlands.

Yes, the Ikea drawers are nice and deep. I've noticed other ones don't seem as deep in comparison.

Have you looked on wayfair? Lots of choice on there and some are pretty much identical to Hemnes.

Have you posted on a local Facebook buying/selling site asking if anyone is selling them? If you don't mind second hand maybe someone will sell you theirs

Have you looked on Argos or Cotswold Co? Both have a selection that might suit...

Ebay? John Lewis?

And yes... Chester Draws would have had the pedants wading in....

Hemnes is awful, you dodged a bullet.

Will anyone else deliver to you though?

All my bedroom furniture is Hemnes. I bought it nearly 7 years ago and it still looks as good as new.

Was also going to suggest Wayfair - they have these which are similar.

Their delivery charges don't seem to excessive either for Highlands details

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'm just wading through some websites at the moment. Decisiveness is not my strong point.

I'd suggest if you do search ebay for it, I'd search for the Hurdal instead. We were planning on buying the Hemnes one, since we couldn't find a similarly large chest of drawers on gumtree, but in real life the hurdal is much, much sturdier. It is more expensive though....
