What wall colour goes with this mishmash?

Trying to figure out paint colour for wall & skirting for sitting room with grey sofa (not yet purchased but hopefully ikea nockerby - just a grey throw for now!), grey curtains (slight tweed effect), 1 plain raspberry colour chair & 1 tartan chair in pinks, large black fireplace, laminate light wood effect floor & antique pine door.
South facing room with very large windows on 2 walls.
I'm really bad with paint colour! Please help me so I don't end up with magnolia!

I don't know what colour but that supposed mishmash sounds really nice. Grey with raspberry and other pinks. Have you put 'grey sofa' 'pink cushions' into Pinterest and spied on the walls?

If you're feeling bold how about a turquoise blue or aqua colour (or touches thereof)?

How about something like this? Always white skirtings if not varnished wood.

Well with those colours definitely not magnolia. Difficult to assess without seeing the room but maybe one wall (or alcoves or chimney breast) could be a sage green F&B Vert de terre for example and the other walls either a pale silver or ivory. Just an idea.

Green would get my vote.

I think it probably looks more mishmash-y as the throw is on a seriously ugly peach sofa that is peaking out a bit!
Had a look & white, soft grey or dark grey coming up. All look very nice. Not sure I'm brave enough for dark walls though!

Yes, something like dulux sophisticated sage would be lovely. Sage is great with raspberry.

That's lovely hatesummer. Possibly if I did the fireplace wall that colour & the others white.

Farrow and ball light blue. It's a grey-blue and would be lovely with grey and raspberry.

Dusky pink/plum would also be nice I think.

I can't remember if it's the Crown or Dulux website, but one has an app where you can upload a photo of your room, and "paint" the walls any colour you want.
Obviously it has it's limitations but it gave me the confidence to paint my TV room deep blue green

If you do fireplace wall that grey (which is lovely), I would do the other walls a very light grey. White would be too sharp in comparison, it will feel warmer with a very light grey instead.
